Essay Assignment:Once you have had a chance to check out the sites on the Holocaust and the Internment Camps, please write an essay to answer this question:

Were the Americans locking up the Japanese as bad as the Germans locking up the Jews? Why or why not?

You will be graded using the following rubric:
for each statement, you will receive either 1, 2, or 3 points.
1 point - you did not address the requirement
2 points - you addressed the requirement, but therewere issues (poor support)
3 points - you addressed the requirement, and exceeded the requirements
1. You answered the questions.
2. You supported your response with at least 3 facts from at least 2 sites for the German Concentration camps.
3. You supported your response with at least 3 facts from at least 2 sites for the Japanese Internment camps.
4. Your sentences are well written and easy to follow.
5. Your essay completely covers the subject (in other words, it should be longer than 4 sentences).
To earn an A, you need to get 14 points
To earn a B, you need to get 13 points
To earn a C, you need to get 12 points
To earn a D, you need to get 11 points
Anything less than 11 points will result in an F.
